Peter Woods is a musician who plays all sorts of gigs. His main love is jazz, but he also enjoys making music with colleagues steeped in rock and blues and folk and classical genres. He has written text and provided musical leadership for numerous jazz liturgies, including the trienniel gatherings of the General Council of the United Church of Canada in 2000 and 2012. The sweet sounds of his saxophone can be heard in clubs and restaurants around Eastern Ontario.
Peter's main gig is in Smith's Falls Ontario as a United Church of Canada Minister. During his 25 years of ministry, Peter has developed extensive leadership skills for personal development, organizational growth, and conflict resolution. Drawing on the wisdom of jazz, he is able to apply the concept of improvisation to personal and organizational problems.
Contact Peter for workshops or seminars on conflict resolution, organizational development, and improvisational leadership.
